Welcome to Sound & Fury, a roleplaying website for the
discerning reader. Right now you will find several things that I hope will be
of interest, primarily a slew of resources for Dungeons and Dragons, 3rd
Edition. Like many roleplayers I find myself up quite late at night writing
ideas down, developing it with rules and further ideas, until it is a fully
playable creation, ready to run. I figure I might as well place them on public
display for reading and criticism, partly in the vain hope that one day I might
make some money from my writing. The index below contains a list of what is in
these pages, and I hope to update semi-regularly with new bobs and snippets
when they are available.
- Prestige
Classes – There are millions of these on the web: here are a few
that should stand out from the crowd. Here is a smattering of classes from
the disturbing Swarm Shaman to the mysterious Illuminati.
- Monsters –
A collection of surprising and hideous creatures, from the terminally
confused Kobold of Kord to the mighty and terrible Druj Lord.
- Feats – Dozens of feats that I have used in
my campaigns, arranged for easy viewing and with a full index.
- Spells – A
small collection of spells that should be of use to any wizard or cleric.
Amaze your friends with the mystifying multiplicity of Thricefold
and amuse them with Power
Word, Shrink.
- Equipment – A smallish collection of items,
magical and mundane, organised for your easy perusal.
- Planescape
– Some notes on my planescape campaign. These should be of use to other planescape
GMs, but are also intended for my PCs use.
- Cradle – the setting of my most recent
campaign. Includes new races, sorcerous traditions, a system of divine
magic called dominions, and far, far more.
- Hard Drinkin’
– Vampire LARP rules and background. These are not entirely based in the
normal World’o’Supplements… I mean World of Darkness, but in a setting
with a distinct flavour of its own mixed with a smattering of World of
Darkness ingredients. Taste the difference!
- Codename LARP Glorantha Edition
– Larp rules for a Gloranthan fantasy larp extravaganza! Fun, fun, fun for everyone! (In PDF format: you can view them over the interweb or download them by right-clicking and selecting Save Target As...)
- The Book of Storms
– The background for the Gloranthan LARP campaign, telling you all you need to know about the world and the brave people of Sartar.
