Welcome to a Alan's (Sedgwick) nostalgic look back to the 'sixties' especially the time around 1964 when myself and the rest of my class were about to leave Savile Town Junior School and venture beyond those streets that were our 'little world'. These memories were all awakened as they are for many people, by re-discovering old School chums via the Friends Reunited web site. For me that was back in April 2003 and by mid September, nine of us had managed a mini re-union in the West Riding Bar on Dewsbury Railway Station, one flew in from Italy and a tenth telephoned from Lincolnshire whilst we were there, faces I had not seen for 39 years!!.

In 2004 it was 40 years since we ventured out in to the big wide world ( other parts of Dewsbury, then beyond ) more re-union's are being planned.
