Below: John Allen and Stuart Insch ran the game at SKELP. It was WW1 Mesopotamia, using Principles of War rules and 15mm figures.

The battle represented a British Army made up of troops from the India garrison as well as Australia attack Ottoman Turkish positions in the Shat-el-Arab waterway in present day Iraq.The objective of this Campaign was
to secure oil supplies upon which Britain's Fleet and her ability to remain in the war depended.
