Bohemian Night
You can see A F Harrold on every
Thursday evening presenting Bohemian Night at the 3B's Bar, underneath
the Town Hall in Blagrave Street, Reading, United Kingdom from
8.30 pm.
This is an open mic acoustic evening
which mostly presents musicians and singers but which is also
encouragingly open to poets, comedians, jugglers, modern dancers
and people who feel any sort of urge to show off on stage. All
you need do is turn up on the night (before 9pm) and talk to me
to sign up to play.

Cafe
AFH
also runs and comperes Poets' Cafe at the South Street Arts Centre
in South Street, Reading every third Friday of the month. The
doors (and bar) open at 8pm for a prompt 8.30pm poetry start.
This
is an open mic poetry event which has been running in Reading
for many years and which thus can easily claim the title of the
longest running Public Poetry Event of any description in this
town. Anyone who comes along is welcome to read a poem to a very
warm and appreciative audience. Most months we have a specially
invited guest poet from further afield come and deliver an extended
set.
