We're leaving Southampton at 7am on the 24th of July 2006, travelling to France via the channel tunnel (Folkestone-Calais) and then riding through France to Santander on the north coast of Spain.

Why?

• It's (near enough) my birthday
• We're a bit mad
• We like biking
• My brother lives in Santander so it'll be nice to see him

It's going to be hard work and very tiring

But so worth it
