Diary Day 8 Another 6:30 AM wakeup (morning communication has now descended into vague grunting). We went to All Saints Church for breakfast, and then we took the bus over to Harrington Elementary School. Here, we performed two concerts, and had lunch in between. We also had a basketball game, and some of the band members went into classrooms to show off their instruments (note to H.I - the bassoon does NOT have a spit valve). After the concerts (which were very well received), we were back in Chelmsford for the rest of the day. We then spent the bulk of the afternoon choreographing our cabaret routine, 'I want you back' by the Jackson Five. This involved four white teenagers, some colourful afro wigs and some very dodgy dancing. The potluck dinner and cabaret evening were a lot of fun, and the tour song by Jon and Stu (this year to the tune of 'let it snow') recounted the highlights of the tour. And Jon Barber wrecked the floor. BAD. Sunny the dog was taken for another walk this evening. GOOD. nighty night. (we aren't even going to attempt Monty Python this evening)
