Fortunately, the race was completed before the worst of the  forecast bad weather arrived! Special congratulations to the race winners—Dave Taylor of Dark Peak and Lisa Lacon of Holmfirth.

DDT Fell Championship Races 2009/10

The Championship starts on 1 April each year. There are 3 'short’ events, 3 'medium' and 3 'long'. The first Traveller to finish in each event scores 10 points, the second 9 etc. In addition to the overall men’s and ladies championships, there are also vets (over 40) and supervets (over 50) categories. Up to 5 nominated races can count; 1 short, 1 medium and 1 long, plus your best 2 other races. The races for the current year are as follows:
