Road Race Championship 2008-2009 |

The Club championship takes place over a series of 9 races throughout the year starting from 1 April 2008 and ending on 31 March 2009. The championship consists of 3 short races (10k or le6ss), 3 medium (10k—10 miles) and 3 long (more than 10 miles). The scoring system sounds complicated, but it's really quite simple. The first Traveller to finish in each event scores 10 points, the second 9 etc etc. At the end of the year, the Champion is the person who scores the most points. Up to 6 of the nominated events can count towards the Championship. These must include 1 short, 1 medium and 1 long race, together with up to 3 of the other nominated races. Simple! The races listed below have been nominated as championship races for the coming year. The next race in the series in the Milton 6 at Elsecar on Wednesday 11 June.
