Swear It Again Chart Info
- Swear It Again was Westlife's debut single, going straight in at number one.
- Swear It Again knocked Martine McCutcheon's debut single, Perfect Moment off the number one spot.
- Westlife were knocked off by a The Backstreet Boys' I Want It That Way, I'm sure there were no hard feelings as Westlife once supported BSB and are said to be big fans.
- Swear It Again won "Best Love Song Award" in South Africa.
- Apparantly Bryan cried when Swear It Again got to number one! AWWWWW!!!

- Westlife knocked then Manager Ronan Keating off number one with If I Let You Go.
- They were then knocked off a week later my ex-Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell.

- Flying Without Wings used the same Gospel Choir that R Kelly and Celine Dion used on I'm Your Angel(i think!)
- Westlife stopped Christina Aguilera's Genie In A Bottle getting a third week at number one with Flying Without Wings.
- Five scooped their first ever number one with Keep On Moving and knocked rivals Westlife off after only one week.
- Flying Without Wings won Record Of The Year 1999. But unfortunatly Nicky dropped the award later that night and it smashed!

- The fourth cut from their debut album got Christmas '99 Number One after knocking Cliff Richards, Millenium Prayer off the top spot after 3 weeks! (thank god!)
- I Have A Dream and Season's In The Sun were both covers by ABBA and Terry Jack respectively.
- The double A-Side stayed at number one for FOUR Weeks, the longest number of weeks at number one for Westlife so far.
- No other band stayed at the top for this many weeks until Atomic Kitten's Whole Again in Jan 2001. (Ironic, don't you think??)
- Westlife were knocked off the number one spot by the Manic Street Preachers.
- Kian thought the Season's In The Sun vid was okay despite the fact there is no story line, he said some people found it boring. Poeplw who aren't fans wouldn't like it coz it's just the five guys singing but it was made for the fans and they like it.

- Fool Again was filmed in Brazil and whilst there, the film crew had their equipment stolen!
- While filming the bits on top of the Sky Scraper in the Fool Again video, Mark kept going near the edge trying to scare Bryan who is scared of heights!
- Fool Again knocked Mel C and Lisa Lopez off the top spot.
- Westlife were then knocked off by Craig Davids debut single Fill Me In.
- As this was their fifth single, going straight in at number one, Westlife earned a well deseved place in the Guiness Book Of Records for having 5 consecutive number ones.

- Westlife sang Against All Odds with none other than Mariah Carey.
- Mark is a huge fan of Mariah Carey, so this must have been a dream come true!
- Mariah's really fussy about her food so when they were having a meal and Bryan said her plate of seafood looked like a bowl of snot she refused to eat it!!
- Westlife&Mariah knocked Modjo's debut single, Lady off the top spot after two weeks.
- But they were then knocked off by All Saint's Black Coffee.
- If you haven't already noticed, next time you watch the vid to Against All Odds, look at Bryans wondering eyes at the end of the video! I bet Kerry wasn't too impressed with that!
- This was the second song off their second album, even though we didn't know that at the time. I Have A Dream is also on the UK Version of the album.

- My Love was filmed in Ireland, therefore becoming one of the lads favourite songs.
- My Love is the first new song off the Coast To Coast album and is said by a lot of poeple (not me) to be Westlife's best song.
- My Love knocked the "one and only" Spice Girls off number one, thus causing a Album war between the two groups which Westlife, obviously won.
- Have you ever wondered what Bryan's saying to Shane as they're walking down the beach? He is in fact saying: "I hope it doesn't rain again"!!
- This video showed most of the lads sporting new (not nessarily improved) hair do's.
- My Love was knocked off by rival boyband A1.

- This is the first of Westlife's single's not to go to number one.
- Bob The Builder stopped Westlife from getting their 8th number one.
- The What Makes A Man video shows each of the lads arrving in style! Nicky's riding a Harley Davidson, Shane's in an Aston Martin, Mark arrived in a Lotus Elise and Kian drove a red Corvette. Bryan arrived by Helicopter! Which they let him land!!
- Somebody kindly let Westlife use their very modern house for 24 hours to shoot the video.
- Nicky almost crashed the Harley Davidson and almost went straight into the river!!

- Uptown Girl was the offical Comic Relief song for 2001.
- It is a cover of the Billy Joel song.
- Uptown Girl was the biggest first week seller for Westlife, selling a massive 292,348 copies!
- Claudia Shiffer was the "Uptown Girl" in the video which was filmed in a Diner in London.
- Westlife knocked Shaggy's It Wasn't Me off number one.
- Hear'says debut single, a cover of Girl Things, PureSimple knocked Westlife off number one spot!!
- At the end of the video where the guys are pulling off their aprons, well that took Shane at least five takes to get right!!
- Westlife brought out a Video and DVD with the single and extras on in order to raise more money for Comic Relief.
