The Youth Club meets every other Wednesday in term time, taking part in activities such as swimming, bowling, ice skating, drama and football. They play an active role in a variety of Church services throughout the year and help to organise some of the Church's social events. Their most recent event was an American Evening on 4th July which included a sketch about Independence Day and a quiz with refreshments of hot dogs and popcorn being served. This raised £100 which has been split between Church funds and Multiple Sclerosis.
Members also take part in national MAYC events such as the London and Provincial Weekends. In April, 2000 we went to Grimsby for the Provincial Weekend, Mariners' Millennium Mayhem and in October, six members went to the London Breakout. We participate in District events as well, members went to the "Changing Rooms" Circuit Youth weekend in Dorking in February and seven of the younger members were at the District Children's Weekend at Windsor on 5th and 6th May.
