What we expect of our players and members
Toc H is a purely amateur
club. All the money we raise from subscriptions, sponsorship and
other minor sources is needed to pay for essentials like kit, training
equipment, ground keeping, insurance and fees to the relevant rugby
bodies. The bar makes a small profit which is put toward the running
costs of the club house and the rent, however both the rugby and
football clubs have to make additional financial and non financial
contributions above this.
With this in mind we expect all our
members to contribute something to the running of the club. Players
should consider all the jobs that need to be done in preparation for
each match, and on the match day itself. While it is each captain's
responsibility to ensure everything gets done they should not have to
do it all themselves, or stand over players to make sure it gets done.
Players should take it upon themselves to ensure the changing rooms are
clean, all equipment is taken out and put away, shirts are collected
for laundering etc.
