This site is a compilation of overseas birding trip reports carried out by Andy Lees since 1987. The reports are by no means exhaustive but merely intended to give an overview of the trip with itineraries, summary site lists and a full bird list. The site now has reports covering twenty eight trips made to such diverse countries as Ethiopia, Kenya (twice), The Gambia (three), Tunisia, The USA (California and Texas), Costa Rica, Ecuador, Venezuela, Goa (India), Sri Lanka, Majorca, Cyprus, Greece (Crete and Lesvos). Although I have visited the islands of Crete and Lesvos on numerous occasions I have decided not to provide a "good site guide" to these islands as they are already covered extensively in the excellent books by Stephanie Coghlan, "Birdwatching Guide to Crete", and Richard Brooks, "Birding on the Greek island of Lesvos" . However, it should be pointed out that birding on both of these islands can be productive almost anywhere and it can be well worth your while exploring both islands to find your own favourite hot spots.
