JUDGES CRITIQUE FROM THE OPEN SHOW 2004

 

PUPPY DOG (2)

1. Mrs J.E .Kendrick - JERARO RHAPSODY IN BLUE. Dark silver, very promising puppy.Beautifully balanced, lovely headpiece. Dark eye, good earset, great expression. Level topline. Well constructed fore and aft. Well presented. Although got a fright on entering class, settled and did his job, moved well RBD and BP.

2. Mr I Bayliss - TALYOT IKARUS. Just all a bit too much for him on the day. Hope he settles.

JUNIOR DOG - No Entries

GRADUATE DOG (5,1)

1. Mrs J Woodhead - KNOWLESPRING HELLO AGAIN. Pale silver, glamorous upstanding boy with great headpiece. dark eye, correct front, elbows tight to rib, short loin. Just not as enthusiastic in the challenge for BD.

2. Mrs S. Breeze - SALENA THE SEQUEL. Cream. Another eyecatching boy, beautifully presented and handled,Well made. A bit restless on the day.

3. Mrs C. Hudson - JERARO SILVER KNIGHT.

POST GRADUATE DOG (3,2)

1. Mrs J.E .Kendrick - JERARO ENDEAVOUR. Cream - lovely type, not yet two years of age. Well made for and aft. Moved well, colour clearing.

LIMIT DOG (4,1)

1. Mrs C. Hudson - MARIQUITA TIME FOR THE CLAN. Black. Have judged him before and still impresses. Wonderful head, dark eye, great scissor bite, long neck into the best of fronts, well ribbed up. What a pity he appeared jaded in the challenge for BD.

2. Miss G. Grainger - PERRYLANDS DEFENDER SH.CM. Silver, lovely balanced dog. Well presented.

3. Miss P.A. Beaman - KNOWLESPRING HURON

OPEN DOG (4)

1. Dr. J. & Mrs C. Garland-Collins - CH. BHUIDH STEAMY WINDOWS. Silver - gorgeous head, dark eye,great scissor bite, good ear set, ears dark and well feathered, reachy neck into good front and oval rib, short loin, well-muscled quarters. After settling moved soundly. BD and BIS.

2. Mrs S.C. Breeze - CH. SALENA THE SORCERER. Silver - Another well known champion. Beautifully handled and presented unfortunately seen him move with more enthusiasm.

3. Mrs J.E. Kendrick - CH. MARIQUITA FLASHDISTINCTION AT JERARO.

VETERAN DOG (6)

1. Mrs A. Anckorn - PENSFORD THE BARON. Cream - lovely type, moved around the ring. Nicely put together. Pleasing head, good bite, dark eye, good earset. BV

2. Mrs L Richardson - CH TALYOT DIONYSIS JW. Silver - Another worthy champion. Lovely head, good bite, dark eye, good earset, well made, just preferred back action of 1st on the day.

3. Mrs J. Smith - CH. PENSFORD THE LOCAL HERO

MINOR PUPPY BITCH - No Entries

PUPPY BITCH (3)

1. Mrs C.A. King - JERARO SUMMERTIME AT CELTICBRIDG. Silver, pretty pup, very nicely made, long, low and level, beautifully balanced, moved well.

2. Mr Cruden & Miss Lindsay - SILISIA FIRENZE FOR SHAMSKY. Another pretty baby, similar remarks, but not as low to ground as one at present.

3. Miss J. Downes - JERARO S'WONDERFULL.

JUNIOR BITCH (3)

1. Dr & Mrs Garland-Collins - BYNBRIGER BRIE GLORAL FOR BHUIDH. Dark silver, lovely outline, excellent head, scissor bite, good earset into reachy neck, level topline, tight elbows to rib, great quarters, moved well when settled. Reserve Best Bitch.

2. Miss G. Grainger - PERRYLANDS OKLAHOMA. Cream, well balanced and well constructed, moved well. Would prefer darker points to finish the picture.

3. Mrs C.A. King - JERARO SUMMERTIME AT CELTICBRIDG

GRADUATE BITCH (2,1)

1. Mr & Mrs E Proud - KNOWLESPRING GUESS WHO OF DOLPHAZ. Correct mouth, dark eye, long, low and level, moved soundly, front could tighted slightly.

POST GRADUATE BITCH (6,3)

1. Mrs J Woodhead - KNOWLESPRING SHE KNOWS. Cream, long, low and level, promising young lady, but would prefer elbows tighter to rib, won on length.

2. Miss BW Johnston MBE - SKELLGARTH FELICIA. Lovely headed bitch, dark silver, moved okay.

3. Mrs M. Wilson - BHUIDH NADIAS NECESSITY

LIMIT BITCH (4,1)

1. Misses I. & M. Bryden & Mrs K. Bryden - ACHEO BIDEY IN. Dark silver, liked this young lady lots, long, low and level, gorgeous head, dark eye, good earset, correct mouth, reachy neck into correct front, well ribbed up, quarters well muscled, moved well. Another who needs to settle but when she gets her act together she's a picture. BB and RBIS.

2. Miss G. Grainger - PERRYLANDS SAVANNA. A lovely lady unfortunate to meet one. Similar remarks apply, just preferred movement for and aft of one.

3. Miss K. Green - ABBEYWATER APHRODITE

OPEN BITCH (10,3)

1. Ms A McQueen - ACHEO ACHILTIBUIE. Dark silver, lots to like, lovely head and expression, dark eye, correct bite, good earset, correct front, level topline. In the challenge would have preferred her slightly lower to ground.

2. Misses I. & M. Bryden - ESGIA THE UMBRA. Dark silver, another very nice young lady. Attractive head, good earset and mouth, level topline, well made, moved well.

3. Mrs S.C. Breeze - SALENA SEE ABOUT ME.

VETERAN BITCH (7,2)

1. Misses I. & M. Bryden - CH. ESGIA COLUMBINE. Dark silver, lovely headed bitch. Correct bite, dark eye, good earset, good length of neck, level topline, well ribbed up. Beautifully presented, won on topline and movement.

2. Miss G. Grainger - RHOSNEIGR CREAM CARESSE AT PERRYLANDS. Cream, pleasing to go over, well constructed.

3. Miss K. Green - MARIQUITA FLASHXTATIQUE OF ABBEYWATER.
