Mr Justice Coleridge speaking in Brighton at the Resolution (formerly Family Law Society) Conference remarkably described the breakdown in family life to be "as destructive as the effects of global warming" and nailed a number of criticisms to the door of the Family Justice system. He began, by acknowledging that "traditionally, Judges have kept their mouths shut" but that they have "duty to speak out" and express their views publicly. ------- "....a number of people have emigrated from England because they feel persecuted by the authorities tasked with Child Protection" (a) - (Doc 11583)

Following discussion at a Luton and Bedfordshire Green Party meeting a request for a Fringe meeting at the Autumn Conference was made on the subject of "Resolving the Crisis in the Family Welfare System" with a view to submitting a First Draft for the Spring Conference 2009. LATEST: This request has been declined. ------- Beds and Luton GP discussed and agreed the following motion and submitted it for acceptance at the Spring Conference 2009. "This conference seeks a review of policy SW303 with a view to getting away from the existing family court system which is not compliant with the European Convention on Human Rights.
