Adopting
(site updated 16 May 2008)

We would like to remind people who are interesting in adopting any of our animals to please telephone before visiting the Centre, especially if traveling long distances to visit us. This enables us to give everyone individual attention and saves disappointment if a particular animal has been rehomed. Whilst we do make every effort to keep the website up-to-date animals are being rehomed every few days.
Please note that unwanted animals are taken in at no charge.

We have plenty of space for Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Small Dogs and vaccinated Cats and Kittens.

Guinea Pigs

We have a very large amount of MALE Guina Pigs needing homes. Some of them are in groups, threesomes and some pairs. These guinea pigs are living quite happily together, so therefore can be rehomed together. Many people believe that male guinea pigs cannot live with another male which is not quite correct, in the right circumstances males can live quite happily together, (normally brothers or father and sons) if they have been reared together. Guinea Pigs can also be NEUTERED, so why not adopt one and have him neutered as a companion for a female.

We have amongst these males some short haired ones, and some long haired ones, Texels, Shelties, Rex and Heinz 57!! and a variety of different colours. Some of them are featured below, so if you would like to give a home to one or two or even more, then please telephone for more details and arrange to visit.

11 Female Guinea Pigs We now have some female guinea pigs in, all one year old and of mixed colours. Please telephone to arrange an appointment or for further details.
2 Baby Male Guinea Pigs These two baby male guinea pigs are 7 weeks old. Please telephone for further details.

Alonso
Alonso is a male Guina Pig, very dark brown in colour and is short haired.

Please note that guinea pigs can be neutered, they can then be paired with one or more females

Bunnies
Huge Male French Lops

Two huge male French Lops have just arrived. Both five months old and are living together. One is Black and the other one is Grey and White. They are very friendly and gentle and will need a large place to live with a run or a Wendy House would be ideal.

3 Netherland Cross Babies Three very small Netherland Cross baby rabbits, one grey and two black, eight weeks old.
Female French Cross Lop/Dutch Two bunnies living as a couple, one very large female French Cross Lop and her companion castrated Dutch male. Both vaccinated. These two obviously must be rehomed together.
Two Lionheads Another pair of bunnies that are looking for a home together as a couple. Both vaccinated. Lionhead male and his girlfriend. Please telephone for further details.
Harvey - Rehomed
This is Harvey, he is a very pretty coloured harlequin, Dwarf Lop. He is already neutered so could have a female companion. He likes his ears tickled and a little fuss.
Cats
Deeva

This is Deeva (previously known as Suzie) she is a beautiful 3 year old pure white cat with yellow/green eyes, she is loving, affectionate and talkative. She loves people but not other cats or dogs. Deeva is a stressed cat because she doesn't like city life and this causes her to over groom which means while ever she is surrounded by cars and concrete she doesn't feel safe and pulls out her fur and licks patches of her skin until they are sore.

Deeva will thrive in an environment where she has access to country or a big back garden with trees and grass which is what we are not able to offer. She is chipped and is up to date with her vaccinations. She loves her food, play and pick up cuddles which make her purr and stick her wet nose into your face. She she will make a great pet for someone with the right circumstances.

We are also offering with Deeva her carry basket, litter tray, food bowl, favourite scratch post, which she loves and her favourite toys which will hopefully ease the transition. In the mean time Deeva can stay with me and my husband until the 25th May but after that date we are unable to keep her.

Please telephone for further details or to arrange to see Deeva.
