The fishery has a reputation for first class, top-of-the-water action and dry fly fishing is popular during warmer weather.

Buzzer hatches are prolific and have already started by mid-March.

June sees the start of sedge activity and surface sport at dusk can be spectacular when the fish target these big flies. Hoppers fished dry and just sub-surface are also popular and extremely effective during the evening rise. The top fly of the year has to be the Diwall bach (Red head and red holgraphic rib), followed by Greenwells spider (border greenwells)

Rainbow, Blue, Brook, Tiger, and Brown Trout stocked

The season for brown trout, tiger and brook trout runs from March 15 through to October 6. Rainbows and blue 'bows are available all year round

A fleet of 12 x 15ft 'MCA Fisher Hawk' boats available, early booking is advised. Float tubing is first class and wading is as good as it gets.
