Roger Huckle

Roger Huckle received his early musical education at Birmingham Conservatoire. He was awarded several scholarships for further studies under Frederick Grinke and Felix Andrievsky. After several years as a member of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and chamber groups, including the Bergen Piano Trio, he returned to England where he has been much in demand as a soloist, chamber musician and in the recording studio. He co-leads the National Chamber Orchestra of Wales, Opera Box and the London Concertante. In 1994 he formed the Emerald Ensemble and in 2003 he became the principal conductor of the Bristol Chamber Orchestra.
