St. Mary's, Higher Brixham.
The historic parish church of Brixham when Brixham was a small village away from the modern harbour. In the "old days" all the farms between the village and the river Dart were in the parish. St. Mary's Square still has this feel to it.
All Saints, Lower Brixham,
The parish church of the harbour and fishing community. A very conspicuous building from the harbour and entry into Brixham. Forever associated with "Abide with Me" as the author Henry Francis Lyte was the vicar here in the early days of the Nineteenth century.
St. Mary the Virgin, Churston Ferrers.
Just North of Brixham is this ancient parish church that started life as a chapel to the Earls of Churston. The church, whilst being an active parish church like the others in the team, is known throughout the world as the parish church of Dame Agatha Christie.
The Barn Chapel, Galmpton.
In Churston parish, this delightful chapel serves the bustling village of Galmpton.
St. Thomas of Canterbury, Kingswear.
Right down on the mouth of the River Dart is the tiny village of Kingswear. This church has Norman origins being on the pilgrim route from the Westcountry to Canterbury, to worship at the shrine of St. Thomas.
Of course we are not just four fine historic churches with famous connections. Each of our churches runs a full programme of Sunday and weekday services and other events.
We also run many special services, courses and youth activities together and with other Christians in Brixham.
