Long Term Goals - September
2001 to July 2005
1. To continually review teaching methods and
opportunities for assessment, recording and reporting
2. To promote positive behaviour by offering pupils
increased opportunities for success and by reviewing
policies annually
3. To continue to operate within the 10 dimensions of
quality in the Effective Early Learning project
throughout the Foundation Stage and extend as appropriate
within Key Stage 1
4. To ensure all staff are able to undertake personal and
professional training relevant to their roles and
responsibilities within the school
5. To achieve recognition for good practice by
undertaking national standards for education in order to
provide a model by which success can be measured
6. To develop the physical environment in order to
enhance our school community
7. To continue to work in partnership with parents and
carers
8. To extend links with the community and ensure that the
school plays an active part within it
9. To improve liaison with the Junior School in order to
ensure continuity and progression
l0. To endeavour to improve systems of communication
between all parties within and outside the school and to
monitor the effectiveness of all methods used.
