The Brownie Adventure...
Starting in September 2003 Brownies have a fun and exciting new programme.
Brownies will all have a Promise Box, which will hold their Handbook, Badgebook and other Brownie Mementos.
There are some great Interest Badges. Those with a yellow back ground are the standard level. Some Interst badges also have a blue background. These are the Advanced levels. Some of the old favourites are still there. Some have been renamed. New badges have been added. Details of the new badges can be found in the New Brownie Badgebook.
There are now 2 handbooks. One is for 7-8 year olds - The Brownie Adventure - and the other for 9-10 year olds - Brownies Adventure On. They are full of adventure challenges that come under 3 headings YOU, COMMUNITY and WORLD.
Brownies Adventure On also includes Go For It Guides. Older Brownies can complete 4 challenges from this to gain their Go For It Guides certificate. Which will fit into their G-File when they go to guides.
