What we did in June 2006...
Brownie Extravaganza
At the start of this month 17 Brownies joined with others from accross Hertfordshire at Woodson Park Lesuire Centre in Ware for a fantastic day. During the day the Brownies took part in 10 activities - Hockey, Netball, Football, Basketball, Athletics, Dancing, Circuits, Boxercise, Craft, and Team Games. A brilliant time was had by all
Right Here, Right Now - Right to be Me
This month we tried another challenge from the Right to be Me set of challenges called Whats in a Name. The Brownies all made badges about the meaning of their name and we chatted about why they had been given their names.
Fathers Day
This year we made uncooked Chocolate fudge for Fathers Day. The girls always enjoy cooking and we hope all Dads and Grandads who received the fudge enjoyed it too.
Bring a Friend Evening
This month held a bring a friend evening. Most Brownies brought their friends along for a fun insight into a Brownie Meeting. The friends joined in some fun activities including parchute games, team games, and a Go for it Guides Challenge. The Brownies love to bring a friend along and show them some of the things we get up to at Brownies. The envening was a great success with many friends requesting to join us as Brownies
