What we did in March 2007...
Recycling
Following on from our successful Global Footprints Challenge in our Right to Work Together Badge we are looking at Recycling during the rest of this term. We have had two exciting evenings.
The first was a recycled fashion show. The girls dressed one member of their six in a recycled Brownie Uniform of the Future. The four models walked up and down the catwalk whilst a member from the six described their outfits and accessories. planned for the girls, so watch this space for details.
The second evening they worked in sixes with some recycling activies and then tried their hands at junk modeling. The Brownies made some great models,include Tower Bridge, Taj Mahal, cars and robots.
Mothers Day
This year we have a recycling theme to Mothers Day - The girls made boxes of love using recycled materials and following the gift wrapping instructions in our Brownie Adventure Handbooks. We hope all Mums had a great day and will treasure their boxes of love.
Easter
During this meeting the Brownies decotate Creme Eggs to look like Faberge Eggs. Lots of fun was had with jelly diamondsand icing. We also held our annual egg decorating and rolling competitions.
