What we did in November 2004...

90th Birthday Adventure

This month we joined with Brownies from other Packs in our district for a 90th Birthday celebration. Each pack had different decades to find out about. Ours were 1974-1983 and 1984-1993. Two of our Brownies dressed up as Brownies from 1970s/1980s, and Badger dressed up in Brown Owls old Guiders uniform from the same years!!!! We also had two girls dressed up in the uniform from 1990s. The afternoon was a disco with loads of fun and games, followed by hot dogs and hot chocolate before going outside for a firework finale.

Remembrance Day

Every year we join with other youth and military organisations in Welwyn Garden City to take part in the Remembrance Day Parade. This year the parade and service was held on Sunday 14th November. 15 Brownies attended the parade from our pack. Luckily the weather was kind to us and it was cold and dry, even sunny at times!

Christmas Show

This month we started rehearsing for our Christmas Show - A Brownie Christmas. The girls have had a lot to learn in a very short space of time.

There were only 4 weeks of rehersals before the show. The Brownies will gain their Entertainer Interest Badge.


We have one talented Brownie who has just gained her Musicians Interest Badge so we're making use of her skills to accompany our final song.
