What we did in November 2005...
November was a very busy month for us with lots planned.....
Library Visit
This month we visited our local library for the evening to find out what we can do at the library. The Brownies got to use the library computers, look at local history, and learnt how to use the library. It was a great evening and several girls have gone on to pass their Book Lover Interest Badges.
Remembrance Day
Every year we join with other youth and military organisations in Welwyn Garden City to take part in the Remembrance Day Parade. This year we had a good turn out. We also featured in the Welwyn and Hatfield times Remembrance Day feature.
Go For It Guides
This month three of our Brownies have worked towards their Go For it Guides challenge.
Pack Holiday Open Evening
We held an open evening for family and friends to come and have a look at our Pack Holiday crafts and photographs. Brownies who did not come on Pack Holiday had the chance to gain their Hostess Badge, by looking after our visitors. The Brownies all put on a display of their Pack Holiday momentos and photographs.
Christmas Craft
To end the month we made advent calenders ready for Christmas.
Welwyn Hatfield Times
We had a small piece in the
Welwyn and Hatfield Times
, on 2nd November, after a slight hiccup with our Pack Holiday food!

feature.
