The Dowty Sports & Social Club, Staverton, Gloucester
Lap length 46.4 metres (152' 3" in old money). Is there a longer 4 lane anywhere now? It looks and feels like a four lane raceway. It can be used in either direction, but at present we are running from left to right as the cars pass the drivers rostrum. Times look like about 5.7 for sports, 6.3 group 12, 6.6 1/24th production. Probably a bit faster with good cars.

Directions
to the clubroomFrom junction 11 on the M5 head towards Gloucester on the A40. Take the fifth exit from the roundabout (B4063). Carry on through Churchdown, straight across the junction by the Hare & Hounds pub, continue past Brickhampton Golf Club and turn left signposted Down Hatherley opposite Golden Castle Caravans. After passing the factory on your right, turn right immediately before the Sports & Social sign and follow the road to the car park. The track is in the concrete sectional building in the far corner of the car park.
