A bit about the group ..........

We have been walking together since August 2004 and are part of the main Ramblers Association aiming to provide walks for 20's - 30's year olds around Chesterfield and the Peak District.  Our group forms part of the Ramblers' Association - the charity working for walkers.

We are a relaxed and informal group - wanting to mix walking with other activities including social events and weekends away.

Committee members are:
Rachel Burnett - Chair
Lynn Selkirk - Secretary
Marie Stark - Membership Secretary
Lynn Richards  - Publicity
Mark Rhodes - Treasurer
Sally Gilmour - Social Secretary
Paul Cairns - Footpaths Officer

Walks and Social Program 2008

We have given walks difficulty ratings from 1 to 5, 1 being the easiest rating - low cardio effort and fairly flat, 5 being the most challenging - e.g. lots of steep ascents, long distance (over 12 miles), fast pace.

*****If you wish to organise any social events please contact Sally Gilmour, Social Secretary on 07790 627512******

NEW - Themed Walks - We are looking for volunteers to lead some themed walks. These should be shorter than the normal walks with a theme to them, and can run on a Saturday. Please contact Sally for further information.
