***I work with ALL age groups..for babies and toddlers groups and pre-schoolers please check out the nursery rhyme tape in Nottingham libraries 'Boots Books for Babies' project...I also give performances for all school age children at all key stages...most of my work with children is in schools or libraries or for literacy projects, creative writing projects etc - literacy coordinators and similar are welcome to book me by sending a message below..usually I give performances which consist of a mixture of my own poems, songs and stories plus traditional material from UK, Ireland, India and Africa but will adjust programmes to suit your needs...I look to create fun and laughter for the kids..if they enjoy they will be inspired..also lead workshops..assemblies etc...

***My performances for adults can again be a mixture of poems, songs and stories or separate, such as a poetry reading of my own work..though I might throw in a song or two!!! ..or..a performance of a variety of songs..folk club style, my own, oldies, spirituals, jazz style...- I run a programme of stories, songs and poems called 'Spirit of the Greenwood' (I used to perform this with Roy Dyson)for instance whch revolves around a mythical journey into the Greenwood of Robin Hood and more! ..or my poems and songs mainly from the album 'Who Made the Rainbow?' dealing with many serious issues but I throw in some light-heartedness to lift the spirits too!!!...I have often sung in retirement homes and love the old songs ...this is usually for an hour session...I enjoy giving a poetry reading to writers circles or similar..I have given talks about issues dear to my heart - serious or humorous as required...
