Xtra FC gained their first official point of the season with a superb display against third placed Rising Sun.

After finding themselves 1-0 down at half time, an extroadinary 35 yard effort by (big) Ross drew the score level, only for the Rising Sun to regain the lead later on in the half.

Three minutes from time, a superb solo effort from Scott Goodman gave Xtra their first point of the season.

Scenes at the end of the game were as if we had won the world cup and rightly so. Lets hope the season starts here.

It is Xtra's first official point but the Evening Telegraph over the last few weeks has had us on three points.
