Skully Skins the Opposition 4.21pm 20/10/2001

DJ Skully took the honours in the first ever Xtra DJ competition.

Infront of a large crowd, the former UK Battle Champion showed off his skills and proved why he is one of the most technically gifted DJ's in the country.

Xtra resident DJ's England and Matty G finished fourth and fifth respectively.

The highlight of the night had to be when Skully maintained his scratching with one hand while juggling two balls with the other..

The judges were having a hard time of it deciding on how well the DJ's were performing until Skully arrived.

Promoter of the night, Varis Zans said, "It has been an absolutely wicked night. It WILL be done again very soon."
