Xtra moved out of the relegation places after edging past bottom-markers Enigma 2-1.
Enigma were given a first-half lead by Ian Storer and midway through the second period Xtra equalised courtesy of Drew Owens.
The winner came just five minutes from full-time when Lee Goodman’s effort found the top corner of the net to give Xtra three valuable points.
