FC Bell 4-2 Xtra 6.48pm 05/10/2001

FC Bell were inspired by Alex Ilersic's hat-trick as they completed a 4-2 victory over Xtra in Division Two.

Chris Kingston scored the other goal with his first touch after coming on as substitute.

Xtra showed their best performance of the season so far as they went down 4-2 at FC Bell.

A closely constested first half saw Xtra go in 1-0 down at half time, conceding a goal minutes before the break.

The first 10 minutes of the second half were a disaster as Xtra conceeded four goals. A change from 4-4-2 at half time to 4-5-1 proving to be an error in management (you know who you are!!!).

After resorting back to 4-4-2, Xtra quickley were on the attack and scored two goals from Rob Dickinson and Chris Standish.

Xtra had a good spell of pressure after that, with many chances going just wide. In particular, a long range effort from Scott Goodman which just went over the bar.
