Greenbank 9-2 Xtra 6.22pm 21/09/2001

Greenbank went one over the eight as they completed a 9-2 win over Xtra in Division Two.

An own-goal opened the floodgates before Dave Bailey, Ian Male and Phil McIlvaney gave Greenbank a 4-0 interval lead.

In the second half Male added his second, McIlvaney completed his hat-trick – his third being a 40-yard drive into the top corner.

Goals from Chris Miller and Gary Buchan rounded off the tally while Xtra replied with a Chris Standish penalty and Lee Goodman goal.
