Two Bryan's in Westlife ????!
Not content with working with Mariah Carey, the boys from Westlife have told us that they are to work with another legend - Mr Bryan Adams! This time it's a brand new track co written by Bryan, Shane, Kian and erm .. Bryan. We're told it's very much in the style of some of Bryan Adams' old classics like 'Everything I do'. Westlife Tour Guide
UK Tour 2001 ***STOP PRESS***STOP PRESS***STOP PRESS*** Westlife are in the midst of their UK tour which kicked off on 9th February in Newcastle. This is the biggest tour planned for 2001 spanning a marathon 54 dates and means Westlife will be performing in front of over 500,000 fans. Tickets were sold out in a matter of minutes and Westlife have broken the record previously held by Boyzone by packing 11 dates at the Point, Dublin. In addition to this demand has dictated an unbelievable 10 dates at Wembley Arena, London (refer to attached sheet for complete list of dates). Westlife comment: "Our UK tour is the magical moment that we've been working towards over the last few years. We can't imagine anything more thrilling than performing with a live band and seeing first hand the excitement on our fans faces. We've got a number of surprises up our sleeve which we can't wait to share with you!" Westlife rounded off an amazing year by winning a plethora of prestigious awards (including securing the Record of the Year Award for the second year running and MTV Europe's Best Pop Act); a record breaking string of seven Number 1 singles and a Number 1 album; a host of global multi-platinum discs; album sales of over 7 million worldwide (across their debut album 'Westlife' which is certified 4 times platinum in UK and their latest treasure 'Coast to Coast' which is already 5 times platinum in UK). 2001 hasn't started too badly either when the talented Irish quintet, Bryan McFadden, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan were nominated in no less than three categories for this years' 2001 Brit Awards (Best Pop Act, Best International Group, Best International Newcomer) and proudly walked away with 'Best Pop Act'.

9th February 2001 Westlife Start the UK and Ireland Tour tonight!!!!
Westlife start their First ever UK and Ireland tour tonight in Newcastle. The lads will be performing to a sell out crowd at the Telewest Arena. Mark thought he wouldn't be able to do spme of the dance routines.
He said,"I didn't have much confidence starting off. But we worked with a fantastic choreographer called Priscilla. She encouraged me and pushed me to do the type of dancing I never thought possible.
"At the beginning of the rehearsals I would say to her 'I can't do that, no way.' But she would give a really serious look and ask how I could possibly know if I'd never tried it. I suddenly started co-ordinating all the moves and it felt really great.
"Now I feel I could even take on Michael Jackson -- well maybe that's stretching it. But I'm now enjoying every minute of it."
