What is Elite Tool Bar?
Elite Tool Bar is a BHO (Browser Helper Object) or plugin Toolbar which is installed into a web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer.
It was created by a company called Entranet Media who own a web site called www.searchmiracle.com.
The claim is that this toolbar will offer some extra functionality to the workings of the web browser, however many users find this software annoying and just want to remove it. Many users don't know how the software got onto their system in the first place.

Whats so bad about Elite Tool Bar?
Privacy Issues.
Elite Tool Bar is actually part of a whole family of software that conspires to steal information from a users computer, this information would then be used to target advertising toward the user that they would not normally be getting.
Popup Windows.
Users may experience popup windows appearing whilst connected to the Internet that would not otherwise be there.
Secret Software Installation.
Elite Tool Bar has built in functionality to download additional components from web sites and then install them without the users prior knowledge or consent.
System Issues.
User may experience a slower Internet connection and system speed than would normally be expected. The worst case scenario is that Microsoft Internet Explorer is completely disabled. Some users have reported corruption of on screen graphics.
No Uninstaller.
Without specific technical knowledge, Elite Tool Bar is extremely difficult to remove because the supplied uninstaller often does not work.
