Here we will share with
you some of our innermost secrets; the magic ingredients that
go into those delicious cocktails. As we explained earlier, a
well stocked bar comprises of various different base spirits.
If you possess these base spirits, you can generally expect to
be able to make most cocktails with only the need to purchase
a few extras such as oranges for freshly squeezed orange juice
or Angostura Bitters. Our list of recipes are divided according
to which base spirit is regarded as being essential or if you
like, the heart and soul of the cocktail. For example, you will
of course find the Martini in our Gin section, whilst the Vodka
Martini is held quite naturally in our Vodka section. It is also
important to note that many drinks are not actually based on spirits
for example, the Old Fashioned is a champagne based cocktail.
