WALKTHROUGH DISC II

 SUNKEN PLANE 

This Area is totally optional but there are some good items inside so I suggest going, however the monsters are very strong. Now cross the sea and you will see a gap directly opposite the underwater reactor inside there is a sunken aeroplane enter it by driving into it. In the hallway there is a save point use it to save your game and ensure that you have your strongest characters in your team. There is also box containing a Heaven’s cloud. Collect it and the go into the door to the right of the save point. At the top of the stairs to the right there is a box containing an escort guard. Now go down the stairs and in the top left corner there is a chest containing a conformer and in the top right there is a Double-Cut Materia. Now go back up the stairs and around the platform to collect a Megalixir from the chest on the other side. Now return to the hallway. Save your game again and use a tent to heal your party. Now equip your party with items so they cant be put in confuse and then go in the door to the left of the screen. Inside will be Reno and Rude  (only if you are doing this before parachuting into Midgar) Boss thirty one- Reno and Rude. Make sure you steal from both of them as they will give you good items. Fire attacks are good against these two as are comet, ultima and freeze use limits when you get them. If none of your character get put in confuse this battle should not be that hard. When they are defeated go into the room at the back. The box straight in front of you has a Megalixir in it. now run to the end past the stairs and turn right there is a box containing a spirit lance at the end of the platform. Now go down the stairs and collect the Hades Materia from near the helicopter (you can just about see it flash behind the rubble). The go toward the screen and collect the highwind (Cid’s limit) from the lower box and an outsider from the higher one. Now leave the plane and head back to the highwind.
