MIDGAR

Midgar is where it all begins, as a train hurtles round a track pulling onto a station. Most of the first disc is played out in the various sectors of Midgar, the largest of all the towns or cities on Final Fantasy VII. The entire city is powered by eight Mako reactors (one in each sector), all of which belong to the might conglomerate Shinra Inc. Midgar is also the home of the Shinra headquarters, the large and very tall building in the centre of the city. You are not able to visit all eight sectors of the city, only the sectors that are important to the game.

You start the game in sector one. There are no shops in sector one, all you are here for is to blow the reactor sky high and get the heck out of there.

The next sector you will visit is sector seven. This sector is home to Avalanche, Barrett's Freedom fighting group. It is also where the Seventh Heaven (Avalanche's HQ) is located. There are Materia and Weapons shops in sector seven where you can stock up on items ect.. There is also a hotel where you can get some sleep if you feel the need. a list of prices can be found below.

The next Sector you will visit is sector five, Aeris' home is in sector five and this is where she will join your team. There are shops in sector five at which you can buy thing and you get some rest at Aeris' house. Below is a list of prices.

When you move on you will visit sector six (Wall market). there is a lot to do here and you can get your hands on a lot of things. You meet Don Corneo here and it is home to the Honey Bee Inn. After wall market you return to sector seven, to climb the pillar. There is a guy here who sells items to help the ascent. Here are his prices.

The next area you visit is the Shinra building, here you can either climb the stairs and miss everything or you can bust in through the main entrance. If you go in the front way there is a shop that you can use. Here is a price list.
