A pair of Mid-Victorian cottages abandoned before their purchase fifty years ago by the Cranleigh Brick & Tile Co Ltd to make way for chemical and extractive industries. (England - South Surrey; Cranleigh).

Pumpsaint & District Agricultural Co-operative Dairy

A derelict dairy factory in Mid Wales. (Wales - Mid Ceredigion; Tregaron).
Deepdene - Southern Railway Wartime Command Centre

From 1938 until the mid 1960s, the Southern Region Railway Network was controlled from a labyrinth of tunnels hidden in shrubbery of a Surrey mansion. This article investigates what remains today. (England - Mid Surrey; Dorking).
HOSPITALITY
The Windmill Inn

A disused Victorian inn, since gutted by arson and now demolished. (England - Mid Surrey; Dorking).
HEALTHCARE & MEDICAL
The Surrey County Lunatic Asylum at Netherne

Gallery and research project centred on a large, partly converted Edwardian 'lunatic asylum' designed by GT Hine and opened in 1909. (England - North Surrey; Hooley).
Dorking General Hospital

A part-disused hospital based on an old Union Workhouse campus, which also includes the badly fire damaged home of the 19th Century intellectual C.G.B. Allen. (England - Mid Surrey; Dorking).
RECREATION
M.V.D.C. Dorking Swimming Baths & Sports Centre

Pictures from the demolition of the old recreation centre in Dorking. (England - Mid Surrey; Dorking).
MILITARY & GOVERNMENTAL
West Bank Fort

A coastal fort built in 1854 but mothballed only a few years later and subsequently used as barracks. Abandoned since the early 20th Century, it is now gradually being buried by advancing sand dunes to the south. (England - South Sussex; Littlehampton).
