Plus is a friendly and active countrywide social organization. It has several hundred members mostly in their 20s and 30s. Membership of Dunstable Plus entitles you to participate in any of the Plus Federation's wide range of activities. These include those of other Plus clubs together with inter-club competitions and our, very popular, weekend breaks including camping weekends, caravan or chalet sites and trips overseas.

Dunstable group is run with a somewhat less formal structure than other Plus groups. Events for the coming week are usually discussed at the Friday night club evenings. These generally have the following format :-
9pm Meet at Dunstable Leisure Centre (map) for a sociable game of badminton.
10pm adjourn to the Bowling Alley bar (map), next door, to discuss activities for the coming weekend
11pm, onwards, play a couple of games of 10 pin bowling, eating tacos, shooting zombies on the video games and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time.
Members can also, of course, attend activities arranged by other groups and/or the national organization.
We are non-political and non religious, but beyond, that, just a about anything the membership want. There is normally plenty going on at the weekends. Some but not all of which ends up on ... our group calendar:-

... just turn up on a Friday night. Since we may be a little difficult to spot (and sometimes meetings get re-arranged) it is probably best to contact the group a couple of days in advance. Either email (DunstablePlus@hotmail.co.uk) or call one of the people on our contact list. We can keep you up to date with any last minute change
