21/09/03 ESP TO SUPPORT GRANDADDY?
Rumours are circulating that ESP may support Grandaddy on the European leg of their upcoming tour, after ELbow pulled out to support Muse instead. Grandaddy are due to tour, amongst other countries, France, Germany and Belgium between the 14th November and the 5th December. It would be the perfect time for ESP as their own UK tour finishes 2 days prior to this in London. More news as we hear it.
21/09/03 LOSE YR FROWN
The second ESP single from the new album will be Lose Yr Frown, released on the 10th November. It will be a more conventional release than the last single, being released on CD and being eligible for the single charts. The CD can be pre-ordered from Amazon now for £3.99. Rumours are it will include a track by The Blind Cowboys, Toms side project, as the bands management liked the song. The guys are also hoping to produce a video for the release, if they can afford it!
21/09/03 NEW SINGLE AND NEW WEBSITE
Earlier this week ESP released their comeback single Things I've Done Before on limited edition 7'' white vinyl. The release is limited to 1500 copies and includes the b-side Summer Slow Meander (download it here) and a free sticker. Its not allowed in the charts as it has a free sticker but go buy it anyway, its great!
To coincede with the new single and upcoming album, the band have finally redesigned their official website. It now includes a discography, new biography, a fans submission section and audio clips from the new album. Tom helped design the site and its looks a lot better than before, though they must still dream of matching this site!
21/09/03 ESP TO PLAY SHEFFIELD
ESP will now open their October/November tour with a joint headlining gig at the Sheffield Leadmill. They will be joined by the brilliant Zutons in what promises to be a great gig. This gig wasn't included in the original lineup but i guess the demand made them add the date. Even your great webmaster asked the bands management if they would consider adding the gig!
Meanwhile Clearlake are expected to support ESP on most dates throughout the tour. The full lineup for the Astoria gig on the 12th November will be Actress Hands, Clearlake, British Sea Power and of course ESP.

21/09/03 THE ESP E-CARD
Earlier in the week the e-card to support the release of Things I've Done Before was released to anyone on the ESP mailing list. For anyone who didn't get it, click here to view it and listen to 5 clips from the new album! The card also includes a competition, ESP mobile phone logos and other cool stuff.

NME placed ESP's Barfly-tour as their "Pick Of The Week" of gigs to see, the whole article is below:

The support acts for the Glasgow gig on the 15th September have been announced, they will be Homescience and Aviator Shades. Support for the other gigs hasn't been announced yet.
According to The Brotherhood of Fish website, Tom White was arrested for smoking weed whilst sat in a park writing new material. He was later allowed to go free, and the police were apparently cheeky enough to then attempt to get free tickets to the sold out 100 club gig!
The website also has an image of the latest copy of Fly magazine, with the brothers appearing on the front cover.
More ESP stuff is available for purchase on the internet. Firstly a lot more gig tickets have gone on sale through the wayahead website. Also Opal Music have both formats of the new album and the vinyl version of the new single available for pre-order.
