New Releases: Holes In The Wall
The Electric Soft Parade mix the progressive rock of Pink Floyd with the tuneful intensity of The Verve.
Teenage brothers Tom and Alex White, who share lead vocals and most of the instrumental duties, are at their best on chiming melodic numbers, including forthcoming single Silent To The Dark, out later this month. But, covering all bases, the Brighton rockers are also compelling on the slow Something's Got To Give.
Young, gifted and, refreshingly, British.
