The Electric Soft Parade On Tour

Scary youthfulness is just one thing on the side of Alex and Tom White, the Brighton-based brothers who make up the Electric Soft Parade.

Formerly part of a rowdy guitar-based ensemble with a great debt to Ash called The Feltro Media, the pair have since refined both their name and their angle on their influences to come up with something a good deal more impressive.

Their class of contemporaries is certainly a competetive one - they find themselves up against The Music, and far more impressively, The Coral - but they have, in the person of Starsailor, won influential friends.

Their debut album Holes In The Wall is melodic and sometimes reminiscent of Air, but the sometimes lightweight nature of their tunes is leavened with the Brighton-ness of their rock.
