Tabaski

Tabaski is a muslim festival that Senegalese people take seriously. Each family has to sacrifice a goat and generally have a special day. At some point they have to go to their neighbours and apologise for all  the arguments they've had over the year.  We were lucky to come just before it. Here are some pictures of it.

In the afternoon, we went for a walk. A very common sight is piles of very-recently-skinned goat skins in piles...

Your children might get quite attached to it - this is Abou's son (Abou is the boss of PAN africa and very nice)
