Welcome to my fanfiction page, home to mainly my Stargate SG-1 fanfiction. I'm Elise, aka Lisey and this is my home :-) . This is the third design for my homepage and hopefully this one will stick around for a while longer than the others have. Just click on the photo to get to the fiction.

Just a quick new addition, I now have a page for my original writing. My writing page is new as of 18th November 2006 and is the home of all my original stories and poems.

Back in May of 1997 I started writing seaQuest fanfiction during my school lunch breaks, and probably through my lessons, too! I hadn't seen many episodes because of the questionable showing over here in England, but I managed to tape an amount of season two episodes. I fell in love with the show, which led to my writing stories, which I later learned was a very common thing called fanfiction. My stories were all based in the one set of stories and I'm currently working on re-writing them and getting them online, I think that there are about 11 of them in total! I continued to write seaQuest DSV stories and original stories throughout school and then into college.

In June 1999 I was completely addicted to a show that was in it's second year called Stargate SG-1. I hadn't seen the film at that point and had missed most of the first series. Without seeing many episodes I found myself attracted to the relationship of Colonel Jack O'Neill and (at that point) Captain Samantha Carter. My first time on the internet in the June of 99 (two years after my frist sQ fics) I searched yahoo for seaQuest and Stargate. I found the samandjack list through yahoo groups and have been hooked on writing fanfiction for the show ever since. I finally had a name for all of those seaQuest stories that I had written - fanfiction. That was nearly five years ago, now and while I write a lot less now, I still write and Sam and Jack are still my favourite, Stargate SG-1 is still my favourite.

My next fanfiction mini obsession was Charmed. It followed in the pattern of Stargate and involved a couple (I seem to like writing romantic angst). Piper and Leo in Charmed are the exception to my UST-angst pattern though, these guys got together, got married and had a baby. This is probably why I haven't finished any Charmed fiction yet, there's no UST there (although with the current series I might be able to do something about that). I have three unfinished Charmed fics waiting for me to get the inspiration to finish them, but despite that Charmed is my number two TV show.

Dawson's Creek was a show that I'd liked for ages, but it was only in 2003 that I actually wrote a fic for it and even though I went off watching the show in places and most other shows came above this one, this is the only other show except for Stargate and Voyager that I have ever finished an online fic for. *And* this show isn't sci-fi/fantasy (although some might argue that the whole Dawson/Joey/Pacey storyline was fantastical). As you can see by the picture, my main pairing for this show is Pcey/Joey but there's an Audrey fic here, too.

Roswell was my college obsession. I just loved the mix of teen angst and science fiction. I'm a conventional shipper in this particular fandom and prefer Michael/Maria over Max/Liz over Issabel/Alex - but I ship for all three. I'm in the middle of one fic based on Roswell, but without re-runs on my cable channel, I'll never get inspired to finish it!

August 20th 2006 - Bit of a change to my site in general, really. I'm creating a new section and adding my photo site to this one. All three will end up from different domains though! As for me, I'm finally working in a laboratory job, nothing to do with my actual degree though and I moved out of home about 6-7 months ago. I'm happy. But still too busy to write or put photos online. I'm gonna try! Honest!

December 2nd 2003 - Just a note to say that my site has been playing up and some of the lines have come out funny. Try hitting your "refresh" button. If that doesn't work then... email me. I'm not too sure how I sorted it this time, but I did. Also apparently, if you copy the wrong lined file into another window (try Word) it looks fine. Please let me know if any of you encounter this though (thanks Hayley). My msn address is probably going to be the quickest for me to receive it.
