Home About the club Directions Links

The club meets every Thursday at 8.30 to 10.30p.m at the Linton Centre, Linton's Lane, Epsom in Surrey.

The emphasis is very much on self defense but at the same time developing fitness and having fun. Adults over 16, of any ability, are welcome and beginners courses start every few weeks. The first lesson is completely free of charge and there is no obligation to join unless you decide that you want to continue. If you do decide to continue then fees can paid either weekly or quarterly and we run the club as a non-profit making organisation to keep the costs as reasonable as possible.

All you need is a t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms to join in the beginners course and by the end of the course you can expect to have learnt several techniques for dealing with an attacker who throws a punch or tries to grasp your body or clothing. The emphasis is on technique and not physical strength, which makes Aikido an ideal form of self-defense for both sexes and a wide range of ages. Just simply attending a beginners course can be a confidence booster in itself.

Black belt tuition is given by Stewart Rolland 6th Dan, Danny Thomas 2nd Dan and Steve Marsh 1st Dan as well as senior grades from other associated clubs.

To contact us, please call  Stewart on 0208 641 9170 or mobile 07931 578 552 or call Steve on 0208 393 3118

Although we train all the year round, it's best to contact us by phone before you come along alternatively you can contact us by email.
