WHY NOT MAKE A P.A.C.T. WITH YOUR  COMMUNITY?

Last year saw the launch of several PACT (Partners and Community Together) Meetings throughout the Borough to work alongside the move towards Neighbourhood Policing through the Building Safer Communities Project. This year should see an increase in PACT, street meetings, consultation surgeries and other methods of communicating with the public to help with the consultation process of the project.

WHAT IS A P.A.C.T. ?

During the PACT meeting, residents are able to voice concerns for their community and decide on three current issues which the PACT partners pledge to investigate and report their actions to the next meeting. The PACT meetings enable police to understand local concerns and offer residents a way of getting their views heard by the partners and organisations which can help improve people's quality of life.
