FACE is an umbrella organisation set up in 1998 by local
voluntary groups to help resolve community issues on the Castlecroft and
Finchfield Estates.
We are working together to develop a project aiming to
set up and improve community facilities that are currently lacking in
the area.
Our aims are to:
Create appropriate and high quality facilities for
all sections of the local community.
Promote and support initiatives aimed at increasing
access to, participation in, the local community.
Create and support the development of training and
re-skilling opportunities.
To enhance the local environment by raising awareness
of environmental issues.
To encourage all sections of the community to take
a more active role in their community.
How are we trying to achieve
this ?
By helping the local community to apply to a variety
of funding organisations and build partnerships with local educational,
health, leisure, environmental and commercial organisations.
