"Disability Doesn't Stop Us!"

The purpose of the Access Group is to enable disabled people in Fareham to work together to:

• Improve access to shops, leisure and public areas.
• Identify the problems: steps, curbs, handrails, signs, lighting, noise, etc.
• Work with local council, retailers and service providers to make changes.
• Advise companies and organisations at the planning stage so they avoid problems.
• Spread the word that disabled people should be treated equally!

The Access Group would like to hear from people who have seen things in our local communities that are likely to exclude people with any form of disability.  - We will investigate to see if the matter can be remedied.
