Jake is rather outgoing and certainly eager. One might consider him innocent and naive but in reality he knows the truth about the world and can handle it with enough seriousness and cynicism. He feels proud that his mother chose him to follow her and hopes to live up to her confidence and prove useful in the fight against Voldemort.
Background:
His mother, Vera Lomar, is a pureblood who comes from a long line of 'good' witches. Traditionally, the oldest daughter of each generation would study how to fight the Dark Arts.
