AVADA KEDAVRA

A Dark Harry Potter RPG

Following the recent spate of attacks on Muggles and Halfbloods by the supporters of He Who Must Not Be Named, Professor Albus Dumbledore (Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards), currently Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, has with the reluctant support of the Ministry of Magic taken it upon himself to lead the fight against the Dark Lord.

Albus Dumbledore, having declined the offer of the position of Minister for Magic, has gathered a seemingly random assortment of witches and wizards to help him in his fight -- but even he cannot be entirely sure who to trust, as more and more listen to the promise of power and flock to the side of Voldemort, and these people take the maxim 'if you're not with us, you're against us' very seriously...

Welcome to the World of Avada Kedavra.

Our aim is to explore the intrigue and alliances of that dark period of magical history from both sides. AK is not meant to be an 'Order of the Phoenix' type concept, although Dumbledore's circle is dedicated to eradicating the threat of Voldemort and his supporters. We are as interested in exploring the bad guys as the good.

Almost everything is viewable from 640 x 480 x 16 and above. However, some pages (like the Ministry of Magic) require slightly higher resolutions. The recommended baseline resolution is 800 x 600 x 16. This page was designed in 1280 x 1024 x 32 (the primary designer is most comfortable with this resolution, unfortunately), which is why things can get a little weird in lower resolutions and color depths. Almost every page is designed to conform to the HTML 4.01 Transitional standard with CSS (or at least we tried to, anyway). Browsers with improper or 'broken' implementations of such standards will face problems viewing this page. This page was primarily designed for Opera 5.12, and tested frequently with Internet Explorer 6.0 and Netscape Navigator 4.7 -- IE 6 will display most of the features correctly, while effort has been made to make the Netscape version readable. The designer would like to apologize for any untoward or annoying inconveniences involving screwy graphics, long scroll bars and the like.
